Mary
Mazzio wrote, directed and produced the critically
acclaimed and award-winning films, Lemonade Stories,
A Hero for Daisy and Apple Pie. Lemonade Stories,
which chronicles the impact of mothers of wildly
successful entrepreneurs, debuted on CNNfn to
tremendous press and acclaim (including cover
stories in USA Today, Forbes.com, Christian Science
Monitor, ABC News.com, CNN Money, UPI, NPR, Bloomberg
Radio, Fast Company, Boston Globe, CNN Headlines
News) and recently won the 1st Place Judge's Commendation
for BEST DOCUMENTARY from the Rhode Island International
Film Festival, one of the few festivals to qualify
films for Academy Award consideration. Lemonade
Stories will air nationwide in Israel, Hong Kong
and the Middle East in the Spring of 2007.
Apple
Pie, a film about high profile athletes and their
moms which aired on ESPN, was called "warming
and illuminating, told with deftness and emotion"
- New York Times; "fantastic" - NPR;
"excellent" - CNN; "heartwarming"
- Los Angeles Times, and was also a recommended
pick by Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide. A Hero
for Daisy, which profiled the Title IX demonstration
at Yale in 1976 by two-time Olympian Chris Ernst,
was hailed as a "landmark film" by The
New York Times, "remarkable" - NPR;
"fantastic" - Sports Illustrated, "inspirational"
- TV Guide, aired on ESPN Classic, Oxygen, WTSN-Canada,
and was invited to screen at the Smithsonian.
This film is in thousands of classroom across
the nation.

Mazzio,
an Olympian (1992 - Rowing), and a graduate of
Mount Holyoke College and Georgetown Law School,
has received the Gracie Award; a Women's Sports
Foundation Journalism Award; the Myra Sadker award;
a Henry Luce Foundation Fellowship (Korea); and
a Rotary Foundation Graduate Fellowship (France).
A former law firm partner with Brown, Rudnick
in Boston, Mary has served on a number of Boards
of Directors including Shackleton Schools, Sojourner
House (a homeless shelter), The Greater Boston
Youth Symphony Orchestras, The Head of the Charles
Regatta, and the National Rowing Foundation.
Mary
is willing to disclose her real height and true
hair color - but not her golf handicap, particularly
after her performance at the Drew Bledsoe Golf
Tournament, where she played as a celebrity (who
nobody knew). She was, however, heckled by real
celebrities: NFL great Lynn Swann and producer
Bobby Farrelly, for having brand new golf shoes.
