Apple Pie, a film about high profile athletes and their moms which aired on ESPN, was called "warming and illuminating, told with deftness and emotion" - New York Times; "fantastic" - NPR; "excellent" - CNN; "heartwarming" - Los Angeles Times, and was also a recommended pick by Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide. A Hero for Daisy, which profiled the Title IX demonstration at Yale in 1976 by two-time Olympian Chris Ernst, was hailed as a "landmark film" by The New York Times, "remarkable" - NPR; "fantastic" - Sports Illustrated, "inspirational" - TV Guide, aired on ESPN Classic, Oxygen, WTSN-Canada, and was invited to screen at the Smithsonian. Mazzio, an Olympian (1992 - Rowing), and a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Georgetown Law School, has received the Gracie Award; a Women's Sports Foundation Journalism Award; the Myra Sadker award; a Henry Luce Foundation Fellowship (Korea); and a Rotary Foundation Graduate Fellowship (France). A former law firm partner with Brown, Rudnick in Boston, Mary has served on a number of Boards of Directors including Shackleton Schools, Sojourner House (a homeless shelter), The Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, The Head of the Charles Regatta, and the National Rowing Foundation.

Mary is willing to disclose her real height and true hair color - but not her golf handicap, particularly after her performance at the Drew Bledsoe Golf Tournament, where she played as a celebrity (who nobody knew). She was, however, heckled by real celebrities: NFL great Lynn Swann and producer Bobby Farrelly, for having brand new golf shoes. She heckled back. (Credit: 50 Eggs Productions).
