with fellow Nebraskan Johnny Carson as well as some
of his most interesting interviews on The Dick Cavett
Show.
And on June 20th at legendary Nick Ashford and Valerie

Media invite for Theresa Sareos Alive Again
CD Release Party June 22 at NYCs legendary Bitter
End
Concert event marks personal triumph after near fatal
injury--as seen on Larry King Live.
New York May 26, 2006- Sometimes an event will change
your life forever.
And such was the case with popular singer/songwriter
Theresa Sareo, who has appeared in such noted venues
as The Bitter End, Hard Rock Café, CBGBs
Gallery, Hammerstein Ballroom, Studio 54, and Londons
The 12 Bar Club and Acoustic Café. While standing
on a Manhattan corner waiting for a light to change,
she was hit by an impaired driver of an SUV and hospitalized
for over two months which resulted in the loss of
her leg. The story was chronicled in New York Magazine,
major New York dailies and in a riveting live Larry
King Show.
With
the release of her inspirational third CD, Alive Again
on June 22nd at the Bitter End in NYC, she chronicles
not only her struggle but her victory over adversity.
Produced by Ted Cruz and Theresa, it features guitarist
Jon Herington from Steely Dan, drummer Shawn Pelton,
and members of the bluegrass/gospel group, Ollabelle.
In this 12 song CD, Theresa sings about coping with
her loss, the memorable people she's met, and her
staple love ballads. She continues in the melodic
pop/rock/country styles reminiscent of Sheryl Crow
and Bonnie Raitt.
Theresas music has been featured throughout
Europe including Germany, Spain, England and Italy.
She's written and performed for renowned artist/painter
Mark Kostobi and authors Betty Eadie and Dr. M. Scott
Peck. Shes collaborated with the legendary Blood,
Sweat & Tears, both in the studio and on stage,
with David Clayton-Thomas' 911 tribute, "The
Lights of Broadway." She has also produced songs
for and collaborated with Vincent Irizzary from All
My Children and Live with Regis and Kelly's Kelly
Ripa. Theresa's first two CDs, Theresa Sareo and Embrace,
have garnished Billboard Magazine and various Internet
music awards.
Theresa
is also available as a motivational speaker, and a
speaker in educational settings. She has spoken to
the School of Visual Arts Graduate Art Therapy Program;
The New School; ESL (English as a Second Language)
schools; to medical staff and students at NY's Bellevue
Hospital's departments of Psychiatry, Psychology,
Social Work, Trauma, and Rehabilitation Medicine and
in many other health facilities.
Alive
Again marks a turning point not only in Theresa Sareos
life but is also her greatest musical achievement.
