The Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello
and Roy Heffernan)

The
Tag-Team division makes its debut with the induction
of The Fabulous Kangaroos. This team consisted of
Australians Al Costello and Roy Heffernan. The Fabulous
Kangaroos dominated much of tag team wrestling in
the 1950s and 1960's and they headlined shows at the
famed Madison Square Garden. The team held both World
and United States titles under the direction of their
manager, "Wild" Red Berry. The pair used
to throw cardboard boomerangs, bearing their images,
out to the fans. Both wrestlers are now deceased.

The
Royal Kangaroos (Lord Jonathan Boyd and Frederick
Charles III)

Lord
Jonathan Boyd and Norman Frederick Charles III. Now
there's two names that must belong to a couple of
real sweet boys! Can't you see them sipping tea, and
riding to the hounds! Aw!!!! Not so. More likely than
not when you see this Jonathan and Norman, they'll
be bashing people over the head or kicking them in
the ribs. Not just any people, Professional Wrestlers!
You see John and Norm are the Royal Kangaroo's, from
Down Under. After all these years as a team they wrestle
as if their minds were one. They are undoubtedly one
of the best teams in the world. They have held more
tag team titles and single titles than I could name.

Lord
Jonathon Boyd and myself Norman Frederick Charles
III. We were two Australian Wrestlers who formed the
famous team 'The Royal Kangaroo's'. We are both cousins,
and started wrestling at a very early age. We both
wrestled very successfully as amateurs. When we both
turned professional, we wrestled separately for quite
some time, then joined forces going on to become South
Pacific world champions which covered Australia, New
Zealand, New Guinea, French Numea, Western Samoa,
and parts of Africa We have appeared all over the
world, including the Sumo Hall in Tokyo and before
the Queen of England (not once but twice) at Covent
Garden's and Earl's Court London, and have wrestled
before 130,000 people in India to name a few.
